Compassionate Care for Cows at Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala

Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala is dedicated to rescuing, sheltering, and caring for abandoned and ailing gauvansh in Kharar, Punjab since 2000. Located in the north west of Punjab India. Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Ji Gaushala Sewa Samiti is one among the oldest gaushalas of distt: SAS Nagar. It was established by residents of kharar. Trust under the inspiration and guidance of the revered saint Shri Gayana nand ji in year 2000.Gaushala is working constantly since 2000 to protect and establish the glory of Indian Cow's. Started with a service of 2 cows, the gaushala is now nurturing more than 400 cows. which were either neglected, sick, or saved from butchers. All the devoties of gaushala are highly motivated by the selfless service and inspiration rendered by the revered trusties .Thus, they all are fully committed and working hard constantly to achieve the goals set by President & Administration.

Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala Sewa Samiti ji Gaushala was established with a determined mind set to work ceaselessly, selflessly & devotedly for protection, preservation and enhancement of indigenous Cow breed of India. The fundamental idea is to create such an environment topographically, ecologically, socially & politically, so that cow inhabiting in the country shall breathe fearlessly and the lost glory & sacredness of holly cow can be restored. With a mission to protect abandoned cows from city can be brought to gaushala that is why Shri Gopal Mata Ambika Devi Gaushala came into existence. But as we are moving on, the paradigm is getting broader. Now this organisation has made up her mind to develop infrastructure for the man kind to educate deprived people to make self-sustainable infrastructure. We now aim to take care of more Gauvansh for that we are making plan to purchase land for the shelter of 2000 – 5000 gauvansh.

To protect cow wealth from sickness, starvation and slaughtering. Perform service of cows by keeping them in the Gaushala and providing conducive environment for proper feeding medical facilities. To ensure protection by keeping them in the Gaushala under own control and super vision and not to part any cow, calf, ox, bulls to any individual or any organization for any social or commercial benefit to work for Breed Improvement through AI and promote A2 milk among farmers. Takeing strategic steps towards a sustainable Model for Gaushala. By promoting Cow Based Economy in surrounding areas. To establish a state-of-the-art & fully equipped veterinary training institute for animal health care and thus to create a large team of trained vet healthcare workers. Establishing Cow Research Center so as to motivate farmers and society.to work for the awareness of people about productivity of Resource obtained from cow and thereby making the Gaushala self reliant .
